Microsoft Education App Testing
We are recruiting educators from around the world to evaluate a Microsoft Education app in their native language. Selected participants will be compensated for their time.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Participant requirements
We need 12–15 educators who meet all four of the following criteria:

Your education organization has access to the Microsoft Copilot Teach app, which confirms your tenant is up to date.

Active Microsoft Educator
You have completed courses on Microsoft Learn in the last six months. You will need to submit your profile URL to apply.

WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES
Project overview
You will evaluate the Microsoft Study and Learn app by using it in your native language, taking on the perspective of a student seeking help with schoolwork. You will be provided 17 queries to run in the app and will record your results and feedback in a spreadsheet we provide.
All results and feedback must be written in English. We estimate the total time commitment at 4–5 hours.
Before you begin, you will have access to a training video (in English, with captions and translation available) that walks through the app and explains how to complete the evaluation. A scoring rubric and examples will also be provided so you know what to look for.
Once complete, you will upload your spreadsheet to a shared folder. If your submission is missing information or requires clarification, you may be asked to revise it — you will have one round of revisions and 3 business days to make any changes.

Paid to each educator who is selected and completes the project successfully. You may choose payment by bank transfer via Wise (which will convert to your local currency) or by Amazon gift card delivered electronically.

FAQ
What does “native or heritage speaker” mean?
We are looking for educators who have a deep, lived understanding of the language — including its cultural nuances, idioms, and regional references. This includes native speakers and heritage speakers who have maintained strong fluency and cultural connection.
Does my country qualify for my language?
You must currently live in a country where your target language is the predominant spoken language. For example, a Spanish (ES-MX) participant should be located in Mexico, and a French (FR-FR) participant should be in France.
How do I know if I have access to the Teach app?
If you can access the Microsoft Copilot Teach app through your education organization, you qualify. This is the clearest indicator that your organization’s Microsoft 365 tenant is current and configured for education.
What counts as “active” in the Microsoft Educator community?
There is no minimum badge count, but you must have completed at least one course on Microsoft Learn within the last six months. You will be asked to submit the URL to your Microsoft Learn profile as part of your application.
What if the app hasn’t launched in my region by May 13?
Study and Learn will roll out worldwide beginning May 13, but availability may vary by region. You may need to wait a short time before the app appears. We cannot control the rollout schedule, so please factor this into your availability.
What if I have a scheduling conflict during the evaluation window?
The evaluation window is May 13–20 and cannot be extended. If you have a known conflict during that week, we ask that you do not apply for this project.
What are the most common reasons a submission would need revision?
The most common issues are missing a prompt response, forgetting to enter a score, or providing feedback that is unclear or incomplete. You will have one round of revisions with 3 business days to address any issues.
Is this work done collaboratively with other participants?
No. Each participant completes the evaluation independently. You will not have visibility into other participants’ work.
When will I hear back about my application?
Selected participants will be notified within two weeks of applying.
